Landscape Photographer of the Year Awards 2009

Tue Oct 20, 2009, 7:57 AM
I've just received results from "Take a View" the Landscape Photographer of the Year Awards 2009 and I have two in the Exhibition and the book this year.

St. Abbs Head was Highly Commended and the Sunset Way was also Commended so I'm quite pleased with that news.

I make most of my living teaching kids about ancient history and this leaves me enough time to get out and about shooting landscapes occasionally.

I shoot mainly digital these days but I still dust off my film cameras from time to time.

I like to wild camp where I can to really immerse myself in the atmosphere of a location for the best results.

I love reading your comments but I often just don't know what to say in return so If I haven't replied personally, I hope you will accept my general thanks and know I really do appreciate your thoughts.
